When to rebuild engine ???

Hi guys,

Just curious as to what stage does an engine rebuild take place on these cars?

Has anyone on here or in the UK performed one yet ???

Just putting the feelers out there...

When your engine is going through oil like no tomorrow and you get lots of white smoke... you should starting planning it. Until then, it will be fine.

Yea Brad, some engines last a million kms without a rebuild if serviced routinely. If you treat it right I don't see why a VR4 should be any different, especially considering the build quality of primary engine components

nice looking piston from the top.. seemed like it was doing its job until it snapped..

also the oil control rings seems to be still in tact.. amazing.. thought they would disintegrate?!
