Well my hail damage is definitely being fixed.
And it looks like the winner is....
MIDNIGHT PURPLE II!
The reason for this is it looks like we're gonna' do a closed door respray so gonna' go with a similar colour to Trigger Mauve so the doors, engine etc. don't look out of place. MPIII looks like it will be a lil too hard and Millenium Jade would require a full re-spray which would cost too much IMO.
Just need to talk to the spray painter now but should be all good!
Of course she will be de-badged to go along with it. Still tossing up on whether to spend an extra $500 and go with a Super Wing, hmmm...

When the car is sprayed the doors and bonnet are "closed" meaning door jams and stuff are left un-painted.
Not too bothered about the ramifications in terms of re-sale value. When I go to sell it the car will be awesome and someone will kill their brother to buy it off me!

Inside the doors, pillars, sills etc is not sprayed.
This makes it a "relatively" straight foward spray job. Or a bit simpler and cheaper if you like.
Good for when the old and new colours are close.

just go the 'not-so-dogey-but-still-dodgey' option
spray the outside and the drivers door jambs, then when you hop in/out, BAM full repray

is it to late to mention icelle blue and winning turquoise?? both mitsi colours but rare as rocking horse droppings and drop dead gorgeous!
