The better half wants to host an overnight LAN party, for all those who are so inclined...

When: Saturday 17th April, arrive around 5-ish to set up your PCs
Where: Smitty's house in Frankston, PM for address
What to bring: Yourselves, PC and associated paraphenalia, powerboard, network cable with some reach, if required. Switches are also useful. Don't forget booze, red bull, and a tenner for pizza!

I have a spare bigscreen tv, so if someone has an Xbox 360 console and any of these games, feel free to bring, we can network them as well.

Judging by the amount of people coming, some kind soul might want to provide a trestle table or some such. We'll try and borrow one from the parents, but we may need another.

We also have wireless network and an ADSL2+ connection and oodles of bandwidth for use/abuse.

I'll be there (well it IS my house after all) but probably won't be participating, Jen's got the only decent PC. I do have an xbox 360 though, if someone else were to bring another one, i'll set up the other bigscreen tv in the lounge for multiplayer xbox madness.
For those who plan to crash (that aren't legnum owners lol!) we've got a double futon and our couches will comfortably hold two, plus room on the floor for mattresses/sleeping bags etc. Just bring the usual gear.

I have an 8 port switch (1000mbps) and a few spare boxes which should run most of those games. But, I'm only coming if we can play Quake 3

I'll try and pop over to socialise for a while since it's so close. Won't stay all night though, and probably won't play any games because I'm a total n00b at them. I'm good at laughing and making fun of people when they get pwned though.

Wondering if anyone's willing to do this over the Easter weekend; next weekend is no good, and too short notice, weekend after is the family BBQ meet(21st), and Jen's going to another lockout at Hearthstone (that tris and rh1no might want to go to aswell) the following weekend (26th).
