Here are some pics of the new WRX Sedan from an American website .... ^ Yes, the inlet manifold and intercooler end tanks are plastic. Interesting idea, I wonder what the benifits are ? Heaps of pics here http://www.iwsti.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94874 Thoughts ???
Reminds me of a camry a bit, in how it looks like plastic has been bolted to the sides and allowed to melt in the sun. Not a fan at all. I wonder if theres any gains or otherwise from using plastic inlet runners compared to cast alloy. Less/more heat soak etc?
Hmm, the front end is like the lovechild of a BAII XR8 and the Aurion. The rear is very... KIA/Daewoo BUT I'm more intrigued by the running gear. Hmmmmm....
OMG plastic inlet lines are so cheap and crap, not a fan of that at all. It looks like a Mini Liberty, which isn't that bad, except the WRX is meant to be an all out speed machine, not a touring saloon
the headlights are bad, the grill is bad, the scoop is bad, the tail lights are TERRIBLE, and that chrome strip is just tacky. You're also guarenteed to have your intercooler inlet, intake manifold and radiator all manage to spring a leak at the same time Stupid plastic crap!
